Gemstone Glue

Gemstone Glue is a fantastic product favoured by Reborners for its versatility and low odour compared to other similar products on the market. Originally this product was designed for the use of permanently applying Rhinestones, gems, pearls, beads and other various items of similarity to fabric, plastic or glass. its completely machine washable meaning its 100% water proof and won't go cloudy once dried. The fact that this product is water resistant means it can be used for sealing the hair. Not only does it adhere the hair from the inside permanently but it also blocks the holes in the vinyl created from the rooting needle. Therefore preventing risk of mould residue building up inside the dolls head. This does not mean I recommend the dolls head to be submerged or dipped in water. But light spritzing of the hair to clean or apply your favourite leave in condition is acceptable when using this product as a hair sealant. Where this product becomes quite versatile is it can also be used for other applications during the reborning process such as eyelash application. By applying a small amount to a tooth pick you can gently bead the glue along the eyelash stem and then put eyelash into place. Drying time is relatively quick however I advise for both applications you give ample time for it to set.
